When it came time for my husband and me to settle down, we looked for a community with friendly people and culturally diverse neighborhoods, and found Lemon Grove to be the perfect match.  It is a wonderful place to raise our two children and we feel very fortunate to call Lemon Grove our home.

Over the past ten years, I've had the privilege of learning more about Lemon Grove by serving in various community groups, associations and city task forces.  Within these organizations I have met so many people and have heard firsthand the issues that are important to our community.

Although we live in a city with great character and many historical assets, we have huge challenges that we must assess as a community.  As your Councilmember, I will make the following issues my priority:

Public Safety – I will work with our law enforcement to ensure that we address crime and maintain a safe community in Lemon Grove.

Quality Neighborhoods – I will encourage redevelopment while preserving the unique characteristics and small community feel of our neighborhoods.   

Economic Development – I will prioritize the budget to ensure our city thrives - supporting infrastructure improvements, local businesses and services that are important to our community.
